About WREN

WREN stands for Washington Reentry Navigator. The wren is a small, common, resilient bird that sings loudly for its size and is at home almost anywhere. It fits the people this tool is for: easy for large systems to overlook, and far stronger than they are given credit for.

WREN helps people leaving incarceration in Washington find real resources and build a plan for the first weeks and months. Each resource shows how confident we are in it and when it was last checked. We say what is known plainly and what is uncertain honestly.

WREN is free to use. You do not need an account. This is not legal advice, and it is not connected to the Department of Corrections. Always confirm the details of your own case with your CCO or attorney.

WREN is built and funded by Communities of Belonging, a nonprofit focused on restorative housing and reentry. It stays free because people give to keep it that way.
